Guess what? It’s showtime… and it’s fully created by the Mylaga community!
We’re calling it UNScripted because that’s exactly what it is: totally improvised. It could be chaos, it could be hilarious, it could be magical — and it will definitely be unique. =)
Our two amazing teachers, Gisela Escoda and Alfonso Garzas, are joining forces with the hosts of our summer improv jams, Paul Alderson (from USA) and YJ Tan (from Singapore), to create this one-of-a-kind show.
A theatre show where the script is created right in front of your eyes. Everything is improvised, yet the magic of the moment might make you wonder if it was ever unscripted at all.
What to expect?
The show is completely unscripted. The cast knows the format they want to present, but the actual content of the show will be created entirely on the spot.
Audience participation will be limited to giving us a few words or phrases to inspire us. Don’t worry, we won’t make you step on stage!
At Mylaga, we take pride in presenting a wide variety of improv shows. Most are comedic and narrative, but not always. If you come to several of our shows, you’ll quickly discover that each one is completely different from the last.
The reviews about our shows say things like: "profoundly hilarious", "an impeccable acting", "wonderful, witty, unexpected and delightful" (you can see all the reviews scrolling down).
Important: There is no box office at the venue, so please make sure to get your tickets online in advance here.
After the show:
Keep the evening going! Join us at the restaurant Jose Herencia de Cocina (a delightful Argentinian restaurant 4 minutes away) to grab a drink and a bite and enjoy a 20% discount exclusive for our audience.
Do it yourself:
On the show you'll see us improvise, and that's a skill you can learn too!
We teach improv classes where you develop many interesting skills while laughing and making friends. Fully in English and here in Málaga. See more info on this page.
